Dr. Lee A. Pearson purchased Cheshire Animal Hospital in 1987, five years after Lee received his DVM from Kansas State University.
At Cheshire Animal Hospital all pets undergoing surgery, whether it is a routine spay or neuter or a complicated orthopedic pinning, receive the same level of care.
We recommend pre-surgical bloodwork if your pet has not had bloodwork done in the three months prior to surgery.
This especially is important if your pet is older than five years or has special health concerns.
Having an annual physical can add years to your pet's life.
These visits give the veterinarian the opportunity to thoroughly examine your pet and to discuss your questions and concerns.
We accredit veterinary hospitals!
Unlike human hospitals, animal hospitals are not required to be accredited.
Veterinary hospitals are evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence in order to become accredited.
AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, and are consistently at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine.
Our Standards of Accreditation are continuously reviewed and updated to keep our accredited practices on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence.
Here at Cheshire Animal Hospital we understand the meaning of Community, without the support and assistance of people in our area we would not be a leader for Veterinary care.
And in return we believe that as a company we should give back to the community both near and far.
Every year CAH gets involved not only in Animal Welfare but also in supporting people in need in the community.
Dr. Pearson has also sponsored a member of staff running in the Clarence DeMar Marathon, and has himself ridden his bike 100 miles to raise money for Cancer Research.
