Services
Central Animal Hospital has served the Midtown Memphis area since the late 1930's - beginning as Foote Animal Hospital.
Many lifetime midtowners remember coming with their parents to Foote when it was across Central from the current location!
Foote Animal Hospital moved it's location to 2192 Central in the 1950's, and we are still there today!
The name was changed to Central Animal Hospital in the early 1990's by then owner Dr. Billy Miller.
In 2005, Dr. Jennifer Karnes purchased the practice from Dr. Victor Raby.

Boarding - definitely not the best boarding out there because the dogs are just pretty much kept in the crates.
It's fair for the price they charge.
Luckily, our daycare will pick you them up and drop them off for free.
We have the dogs go to daycare during the day and sleep at Central at night - working well so far.
The kennel techs are so nice and our dogs love them.
I just wanted to say thank you to this animal hospital!
My dog went missing yesterday most of the afternoon and I had spent hours wandering looking for him and no luck but thankfully one of their employees found my dog and he noticed him near my house so he brought him to the animal hospital and came to me that afternoon right after he dropped him off at his job!

If you are interested in radioiodine treatment for your cat, you will be required to sign off on a few different forms.
Please review the pretreatment requirements, the pretreatment consent form, and the normal release protocol.
Clients will also receive the "first 3 weeks at home" form that details the care required once you take your cat home from treatment.
Client agreement for after care if the cat is discharged once the radiation level reaches the discharge level.
