Dr. Leach no longer sees patients for other veterinary services or non-euthanasia emergency care.

Dr. Leach first decided to start a home vet care business during veterinary school in Athens, Georgia, when she realized how much more comfortable a vet visit could be for both the pet and the pet owner if it took place at home.
After externing and working at traditional vet practices in Georgia during her education, then working for over three years as a veterinarian in the military in California and Washington, she started providing home vet visits to San Diegans.
Because all pets need to visit to traditional brick and mortar veterinary clinics/hospitals for routine and specialized care, she transitioned her practice to provide only end-of-life care.
