Current clients: Emergency care available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all equine and small ruminant cases. Dr. Lobar shares call on a rotating basis with other veterinarians and makes arrangements to ensure care is available when she is out of town. Cases may be referred to MSU if surgery or intensive clinical care is warranted. Non-clients/lapsed clients: Emergency cases may be seen based on Dr. Lobar's availability.
Emergency care cannot be guaranteed for non-clients, in order to maintain adequate coverage for established patients. For the purposes of emergency care, clients are considered current if they have been seen for scheduled, non-emergent care and preventative medicine within the past 12 months. Routine appointments are available for preventative care, lameness, chronic conditions, and other medical concerns.
Routine appointments are offered Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 pm with limited evening and weekend appointments available. Digital radiographs (X-rays) and ultrasound taken on the farm, with images provided to you via email or flash drive.
