Great service offered by a great hospital. I called this group for a housecall and someone was able to come out that afternoon. I didn't realize at the time that they were affiliated with West Hills Animal Hospital which made things so much easier when my dog needed testing that they couldn't do at home. They transported my dog back to the hospital for tests and I picked him up later that night.

They even offered to drop him back off for me but I wanted to go to the hospital to see how he was (which was beautiful by the way!). Staff is very friendly and the Vets are very cautious with our dogs in terms of over medicating when not needed.
Services
The goal of at home palliative care, also known as "hospice care" is to keep your pet as pain free and as comfortable as possible when a cure is not possible.
In the comfort of your own home, our veterinarians will be with you every step of the way, making sure your pet's final months, weeks or days is the very best possible time for you, your family and your pet.
At home hospice care focuses on supporting the bond you have with your pet for as long as possible.
Our in-home hospice program is focused on the comfort of your pet, not finding a cure for or treating your pet's disease.
When your pet's quality of life has diminished and the time has come to say goodbye, you can say goodbye to your beloved family member in the comfort of your own home.
We will come to your home and provide peaceful, compassionate euthanasia for your pet in a familiar place to your pet, surrounded by his or her family, without the stress of bringing your pet to one our hospitals.
We can also arrange for the burial or cremation of your pet.
Although this is a comprehensive list of towns, please call us at 631-367-8030 if you are located around one of these areas as it is still possible we may be able to offer an at-home euthanasia for your beloved pet.
It is in your senior pet's best interest to have our veterinarians visit your pet more often (at least twice a year) to catch any medical issues early and to help you manage any senior pet issues your pet may be facing.
Remember, dogs and cats age faster than humans, so even six months is a long time.
Our housecall service is invaluable for older pets who suffer from a disability, such as blindness, hearing loss, or an inability to walk, older cats who have gained weight or cannot ride in a cat carrier and for any pet owner who cannot bring their senior pet to the animal hospital.
