Dr. Gary continued to practice from his established hospital in Del City, Okla., while Dr. Trent moved over to work at Dogwood. After 36 years, Dr. Gary retired from veterinary medicine in 2002 and closed his Del City practice. In 2007, Dr. Trent bought out Dr. Gary to become sole owner of Dogwood Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Gary still does relief work at the hospital as needed.

If you do not have this information, please bring the name (and telephone number if possible) of your pet's past veterinarian or clinic, so that our staff may call to obtain your pet's records.
Due to the increased number of returned checks, we no longer will be accepting checks as a form of payment for services and products.

A native Oklahoman and a 1987 graduate of Shawnee High School (Go Wolves!), Dr. Trent Marr has been the owner of Dogwood Veterinary Hospital since he purchased it in 1997.
Dr. Marr has been the primary veterinarian at Dogwood since that time.
He began his career in his father's veterinary practice, Elms Animal Hospital, in Del City for one year following graduation.
Dr. Trent Marr attended Oklahoma State University, was a student assistant with OSU Basbeall, and majored in Chemistry and Biology until being accepted into the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine, from which he graduated 1996.
Dr. Marr has been the primary veterinarian at Dogwood since that time.
