Dr. Pierce graduated from Oklahoma State Center for Veterinary Health Sciences in 1991.
Dr. Pierce grew up in Oklahoma, where his family owned and operated a horse ranch and raised standard poodles.
Prior to going to vet school he wanted to be an engineer.
During his time in school for engineering he found his true calling for veterinary medicine and changed his degree path.
Dr. Pierce and his wife Dana have 3 children.
They have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses and 2 birds and fish.
Dr. Pierce moved to California shortly after graduation where him and his wife owned and operated a veterinary practice.
