Lien Animal Clinic
We are Lien Animal Clinic, a progressive small-animal veterinary practice in West Seattle that has been serving our community since 1951. We are a fun, hardworking group of team members who genuinely care about each other and about the patients we help every day. We always strive to provide our clients and their beloved critters with superior treatment from the moment they walk through our doors and are lucky enough to have some of the best clients you could ask for.

We surround ourselves with positive co-workers who thrive in an environment where learning is encouraged, exceptional care is taught, and a little silliness is welcomed. Providing progressive, thorough, and thoughtful medical and surgical care while serving as our patients' advocates. Striving to work within client constraints and focusing on providing exceptional, empathetic customer service and education.

Empowering each other with trust and respect in an open, fun, and family-oriented environment. Dr. William Lien established Lien Animal Clinic as one of the first veterinary hospitals in West Seattle in 1951.

While new puppies and kittens are a great deal of fun, they require lots of love and care to help them develop into the perfect companions.
Regular veterinary visits are necessary during the first 6 months of life to ensure your new pet stays healthy and happy.
During these visits, we will discuss common behavioral problems as well as preventative health care.
Please do not hesitate to ask us about any questions or concerns you have regarding your pet.
Our Puppy and Kitten Package will ensure your new pet receives its initial preventative medical needs at a discount of 15%.
As standard protocol, all invasive surgeries (spays, neuters, dental extractions, etc.) receive postoperative and perioperative pain medications.
Part of the oath we take upon becoming veterinarians pledges to help avoid animal pain and suffering.
We take this pledge very seriously and strive to eliminate or reduce pain for our patients when practical and possible.
The use of appropriate analgesics not only reduces animal suffering but also speeds healing time and recovery.
Decreasing patient pain also makes our patients easier to handle and reduces the chances of pain-related aggression.
