Allandale Veterinary Clinic in Austin, Texas provides quality veterinary services for dogs and cats in Allandale, Rosedale, Crestview, Northwest Hills, Brentwood, North Shoal Creek, and the surrounding communities. Safety is our goal. In an effort to keep everyone - you, your pet, and our staff - safe and healthy, we will continue to require the wearing of face masks while inside the building.
We ask that clients entering the building limit themselves to 2 people per visit and maintain 6 feet of social distance. Please call the clinic when you arrive so that we can check you in and take you directly to your exam room when it is newly cleaned and ready for you. If you are feeling under the weather yourself, we ask you to please take very special precautions, for the safety of our staff, our clients, our patients, and for your own health, as well.
If your pet is scheduled for a wellness visit and isn't sick, please call us to reschedule your appointment. You won't be penalized for canceling an appointment due to illness or possible exposure.

At Allandale Veterinary Clinic, we emphasize proactive, preventive medicine to keep your pets healthy longer.
We can't protect your pet from the possibility of contracting an illness or developing a chronic condition, but regular checkups coupled with proper prevention can give your pet the best chance for a long, happy life.
We recommend annual wellness exams for most pets and semi-annual exams for senior pets.
At your pet's checkup, we will conduct a complete physical exam and discuss appropriate diagnostics (such as bloodwork) that can help our doctors monitor your pet's health and spot problems early on.

At Allandale Veterinary Clinic we have a special place in our hearts for older pets.
Our goal is to maximize your pet's quality of life so you can both fully enjoy your pet's golden years.
First and foremost, we encourage semi-annual visits for older pets.
Pets, just like people, become more prone to chronic conditions (such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and liver disease) as they age, so bloodwork every six months is helpful for spotting illnesses that are developing beneath the surface.
