Services
Located in Bradenton, Florida, Ranch Animal Hospital is a full service small animal hospital that has been providing care to pets in Sarasota and Bradenton since 2008.
Our team of veterinarians, together with our well trained and caring staff, is dedicated to excellence in medicine, preventative care, surgery and dentistry for dogs and cats.
We are known for always providing our patients with compassionate and high quality veterinary care and our clients with exceptional customer service.
At Ranch Animal Hospital we understand that your pets are members of your family, and we look forward to them being part of our family as well.
The first few months are a critical period in your puppy's development, and we can give you the support and tools necessary to help him or her grow into a well-mannered, healthy dog, including information and advice on nutrition, training, behaviour, and socialization.
Until your puppy has received a series of vaccines, he or she is susceptible to many serious but preventable diseases.
We will vaccinate your new dog against rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, among other diseases.
Your puppy will also need to be tested and treated for parasites, which are common in young dogs.
It is natural and normal for the loss of a pet to be traumatic and painful.
Over the years, we develop extremely strong emotional relationships with our pets and they become a source of unconditional love, support, friendship, joy, security, comfort, and stability for us.
This relationship is significant and special in its own way.
Ownership of a pet offers many benefits to our physical, mental, and emotional health.
Unfortunately, living with a pet also means exposure to critical situations such as illness, aging, or death.
The practice of acupuncture, or the stimulation of the body with small metal needles, has been around for thousands of years.
An ancient technique that originated in China, acupuncture began thousands of years ago when the Chinese used it on their work animals, primarily horses and cattle.
Modern veterinary acupuncture emerged in the 1970's when veterinarians in North America consulted with human acupuncturists to help establish acupuncture points for animals.
With the help of human acupuncturists the process of trans-positional point mapping began to shape the current point maps we now use.
Not only do we have a state of the art boarding facility at the Ranch Animal Hospital, we have a great assistant team who pride themselves in administering the highest level of compassionate pet care.
We apologize in advance because your pet will be spoiled while in our care.
Our facility has 64 spacious indoor runs, including suites large enough for multiple pets to share.
There are flat screen televisions for your pet to view their favorite cable shows or bring along a dvd for their viewing.
All runs and suites are constructed of non porous painted concrete block and stainless steel gates.
