Services
Dental services at DAC range from routine cleaning and preventative dentistry to restoration dentistry.
Fillings, root canals, and braces are all part of a extensive dental services offered at Duke Animal Clinic.
The AVDS estimates that approximately 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats will have signs of oral disease by the age of three.
Oral disease starts with a build up of bacteria in the mouth and this bacteria combined with saliva and food debris causes plaque formation.
With time this plaque turns into tartar and tartar build up can cause gum disease (gingivitis) and infection.
