Born and raised in Cypress, TX, Dr. Bethany Smith came to know and love veterinary medicine as a sophomore in high school.
Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in 2002.
She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
Her professional interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and preserving the human-animal bond.
For more than 15 years, Dr. Smith has practiced in the Houston area.
In this time, she has received advanced training in animal behavior by completing her Fear Free Certification in 2016 and recently advanced to Elite Certification-she understands the importance of providing personalized patient care every time.
