Dr. Oden has practiced in several different hospitals and helped build and manage a successful practice in Lubbock.
It was not God's will for him to own that practice, so he established Oden Veterinary Hospital in October of 2015.
In 2019, we started the construction of a new, larger facility.
Our mission statement is to treat all patients in a God-centered, family-oriented, practice, that provides compassionate, loving medical care that is of the highest quality.

Dr. Blaine Oden graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science.
Shortly thereafter, he began veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts.

He has practiced at several different veterinary hospitals in that time.

I found a stray.
What should I do?
Check for any collars or tags.
If none are present, you can bring them to our clinic (or most other clinics) to check for a microchip.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet.
Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys and has the potential to seep into your pet's bloodstream.
In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
In spite of these disturbing facts, many pet owners are not aware of the importance of dental care to their pets health.
There are a lot of different ways to improve your pets dental hygiene, including home brushing, dental chews, and regular inspection.
