Canyon Creek Animal Clinic was constructed back in 1971 as a part of the Canyon Creek Village shopping center. Canyon Creek Village originally faced Custer Parkway and was comprised of the property which is now home to the II Creeks Shopping Center, the II Creeks housing development, and the Canyon Creek shopping center. Since 1971, many businesses have come and gone, but Canyon Creek Animal Clinic (CCAC) has remained in the community and provided care for multiple generations of furry family members.
CCAC has become a family tradition in the Canyon Creek community, much like strolling through the park with the family dog, walking the kids to school, making a trip to the donut shop, or playing tennis or golf at the Country Club. Dr. Don Humphries, who was loved and respected by many in the Canyon Creek community, served as the sole veterinarian at CCAC for 42 years (1971-2013).
With our network of animal hospitals available through Legacy Veterinary Group, we also have access to 24 hour Emergency Care and Veterinary Specialty Services.

She attended A&M in College Station for undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences and was accepted into vet school as a junior.

She set out to further her education after graduation on the Navajo reservation (Arizona/New Mexico), where she performed mixed animal mission work, in Colorado and Wyoming, working with an ambulatory livestock company, in Oklahoma, working with cattle at sale barns and in privately-owned settings, and in Virginia, at a distinguished Equine clinic.
Needless to say, she is a very proud Fightin' Texas Aggie!
