Services
Dr. Andy Torsch grew up in Louisville Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky.
He came to Alabama upon his acceptance to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University where he graduated in 1984.
Andy moved to Birmingham in 1993 with his wife Martha and their four children and practiced at Patton Chapel Animal Clinic and Vestavia Animal Clinic before opening Main Street Animal Clinic with Dr. McClure and Dr. West in September of 2003.
Away from work, Andy enjoys many outdoor sports and watching college sports, especially basketball (Go UK!), and spending time with his children and 8 grandchildren.

In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Main Street Animal Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 3 monthly installments.

Ultrasonography is an extremely useful diagnostic tool for examining organs that previously required surgery to evaluate.
Our staff has hundreds of hours of ultrasound experience and is able to use the ultrasound to collect tissue biopsies of multiple sites in a safe, non-invasive manner.
