If your pet is a new veterinary patient to our Orlando animal hospital, we welcome you to our practice!

Please also consider the following list of FAQs so you'll know what to expect at your first visit.
Did you know that by the age of 3, over half of all cats and dogs will have some form of gum disease?
If left untreated, gum disease can lead to more serious problems and health issues such as tooth loss and organ disease.
The good news is gum disease is almost entirely preventable, which is why we recommend annual wellness visits to our hospital.
During these visits, we can determine if a dental cleaning is needed.
Our pet dentistry services in Orlando include cleanings, extractions, and digital dental X-rays to view below the gum line.
You probably already know what spaying and neutering are, but are you aware of the many benefits of these surgeries?
Having your pet spayed/neutered can actually prevent certain health problems from developing.
That's why we recommend these procedures for your dogs and cats, if you don't plan to use them for breeding.
To ensure more pets benefit from them, we offer low-cost spaying and neutering here in Orlando at Kirkman Animal Hospital.
Consider the following list of FAQs to learn more about these surgical procedures.
Whether it's a routine spay/neuter procedure or something more complex, many pets will undergo surgery at some point in their lives.
As with every other service we offer, we make our patients' safety and comfort one of our top priorities during every procedure we perform.
We use advanced equipment, including a pulse oximeter and ECG, to monitor each pet's vitals (heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, etc.).
We also assign a technician to every patient to monitor him/her before, during, and after surgery.
Before any pet illness or other medical condition can be effectively be treated, an accurate diagnosis must first be made.
That's why we rely on diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing here at Kirkman Animal Hospital.
These diagnostic services allow us to examine pets internally and are often recommended when there are certain external symptoms present.
Because these services are available in-house, we can obtain results quickly, with some results available the same day.
This allows for treatment and recovery to begin sooner.
