Beach Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, patient-centered small veterinary hospital building exclusive trustworthy relationships with clients and their unique pets deserving of the best.

A top-notch education in biochemistry and at the best veterinary school in the nation ( UC Davis) followed by mentoring by critical care specialists and internists, a decade of experience in emergency hospitals and two decades in Southern California day practices, prepared us to provide our dog and cat patients with affordable cutting edge veterinary medicine and surgery only wisdom and discretion gained by years of experience can.

But more than that, we pride ourselves on educating our clients on the prevention of disease through thoughtfully customized vaccination, behavioral training, and a comprehensive understanding of nutrition hoping to spare them from avoidable accidents and a very long list of chronic maladies associated with poor foods and choices, like humans.

Being fortunate to have worked with great mentors in internal medicine, oncology and emergency critical care specialists, and 10 yrs of experience exclusively in emergency pet hospitals makes her confident in her abilities to help your pet in times of need, but she shifted her focus after managing critically ill patients to prevention of disease.

When a patient is undergoing surgery---gas anesthetic and oxygen are supplied through a gas mixing device known as a precision vaporizer and is delivered to the patients lungs via an endotracheal tube.
Precise concentration of Oxygen (O2)- the fuel of metabolism- is monitored by a pulse oximeter illustrated to the right.
A capnograph (EtCO2) is a device that verifies that the endotracheal tube is open and is properly placed in the airways to inflate the lungs assuring the surgical patient is breathing efficiently.
Long Beach Vet Dr. Ena Valikov believes in traditional values, trustworthy professional relationships and promoting the amazing bond between humans and their four legged family members demands a team approach between animal Doctor and pet's parents who know them best.
We build our patients' trust through gentle compassionate patient care and lots of liver treats.
Xrays show the vertebral column detecting sources of pain from herniated disks, arthritis in joints, fractures and cancer.
Imaging the chest allows visualization of heart and lungs while imaging the belly shows internal organ dimensions.
