Dr. Arthur Serwitz is the founder of Riverview Animal Clinic.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in Richmond, Virginia.
He received his Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in 1966, and was accepted into the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine, completing his Doctorate in 1970.
After graduation, "Doc" lived in Israel for a year, traveling, studying, and working on farms raising turkeys, growing tomatoes, working orchards, milking cows, beekeeping, and practicing veterinary medicine on some of the local pets.
