Services
Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Family Veterinary Center stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
We are equipped with medical diagnostic and laboratory services in order to provide a thorough diagnostic workup and treatment for your pet's complete medical needs.
Our in-house laboratory facilities are available for blood chemistries, urinalysis, fecal parasite, heart worm testing, skin disease testing and more.
Additionally, we utilize a referral veterinary laboratory service to provide specialized diagnostic tests and consultation with specialists, such as Veterinary Cardiologist, Pathologist, Internal Medicine Specialists, and Oncologists.
Your pet's annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam, with a thorough examination of your pet's head, body and tail, and everywhere in between.
Because even the most cooperative pet may not readily go-along with a tooth and gum brushing, an annual dental cleaning maybe in order.
Like you, your pet can develop serious dental disease and tooth loss.
Severe periodontal disease can lead to serious systemic disease, including heart failure!
Your pets dental health will be evaluated with his or her physical exams and we will discuss dental cleaning needs and at home dental care.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Family Veterinary Center understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.
Pets are life-long commitments, and keeping a pet happy, healthy, fed, and well-exercised requires time and money.
In order to pick the right pet for you, one must consider your lifestyle, living situation, and how much care you are able or willing to provide.
Some pets require very little interaction with their owners, while others need almost constant companionship!
Also, everyone in your family or who reside in your home, must be included in the decision.
