She earned a B.S in Biochemistry, a M.S. in Animal Physiology, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree at the University of California at Davis.
In addition to practicing traditional veterinary medicine, she has pursued advanced education in integrative medicine and is an I.V.A.S. Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.
Dr. Dossey earned certification by the Chi Institute in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2014, and is excited to offer both holistic treatment options for your pet, as well as traditional veterinary medicine.

Town & Country Veterinary Hospital and the Pleasanton Pet Hotel have been proudly providing medical and boarding care to several K-9 Units throughout the California Bay Area since 2000.
We are honored to serve the needs of these K-9 Officers who work to keep the public and their police officers safe.
We also participate in the Cover Your K-9 event, which provides education and first aid training to police officers for their K-9s in the field, and raises money to pay for bullet proof vests for all K-9 units.

The ROP program is an excellent way for your high school student to spend some school periods doing hands-on learning in an actual veterinary hospital.
Town & Country has been working with the ROP program since 2011, and we enjoy sharing the energy, curiosity, and excitement these students bring to our hospital.
