Dr. McAllister grew up here in Johnson County.
He initially attended Johnson County Community College, then went to Kansas State University to complete degrees in Biology, Physics, and Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduation he returned to the Kansas City area where he practiced in Brookside, then in the Waldo area.
In 1993 Dr. McAllister came to Parkway Animal Hospital, and soon afterwards he and his family moved to Lenexa.
Besides enjoying time with family and pets, Dr. McAllister enjoys photography, playing on the guitar, being a car buff, and is actively involved with his church and his children's school.
