Services
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately.
If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has.
Upper Valley Veterinary Services and it's founder Dr. Stewart Ketcham set the standard of "Caring with kindness for pets and their people" over 35 years ago, and in 2015 when Dr. Ketcham retired, Dr. Hutchinson wanted to continue on with that motto, all our clients and patients will be treated with kindness and compassion.
The Dog House was founded in 2017 with the idea of creating the perfect home away from home for your beloved pets!
Offering both short and long term boarding for both dogs and cats, daycare/dayboard options as well as grooming, our caring and attentive kennel staff sure your pets are comfortable and happy during their stay.
Boarding dogs are not enrolled in the daycare/playgroup program, either at the request of the owner, or because a large group is not the right environment for them.
For instance, very large dogs can be threatening to very small dogs just because of their disparity in size.
They will absolutely still get out, get some exercise and get a chance to interact with the animal handlers.
Any dog can be boarded for any length of time desired from a few hours, a few days or a few weeks.
If you forget your pets food we will be happy to provide our food Purina pro Plan Diet Sensitive skin and Stomach for a small fee.
Dogs that enter into the day care program spend a portion of their day in our daycare rooms where they can play and socialize with other dogs in the program.
This will be accomplished on a space and group available basis.
They will be put into groups that they fit into well and can play in a safe and positive way.
Current on age-appropriate vaccinations.
All guests must provide proof of DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
Bordetella is an intranasal or injectable vaccine.
Similar to a flu shot, Bordetella covers only a few strains of canine cough and is not a guarantee of immunity.
Dogs have their own personalities and temperaments that need to be accommodated during grooming.
Our goal to make sure your pet feels as happy and comfortable as possible in our care.
From a standard bath to a full-service groom, we offer a variety of dog grooming services that are just right for your pet.
Due to different breeds, temperament of your dog, condition of coat and time needed to complete services, grooming cost may need to be adjusted.
Please let us know before your dog's appointment of any special needs your furry friend may have.
