I look forward to meeting and helping you and your pets as well. Services
The veterinary profession is working hard to be mindful of the fear and anxiety that any of us may experience with medical care.
At DVM I am continually looking for ways to reduce that stress.
And one of the most obvious is by eliminating the car ride and wait in the lobby at the local hospital.
Exams can be performed outside, in your pet's favorite bed or on the couch next to you.
Wherever your pet is most comfortable and allows me to perform a thorough exam is where the visit will occur.
Plus as an added convenience in your busy lives, we come to you!
In our goal of providing more individualized and comprehensive veterinary care, average house calls will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
New client appointments, especially for those pets with health concerns or multiple pets, may take more time.
The time spent with you and your pet for a DVM appointment is at least double the traditional appointment time and allows us to be sure that we are fully addressing you and your pets needs.
We would ask that you have a collar or harness and a leash ready for your dog.
Anything that can typically be done in the hospital exam room can be done in the comfort of your own home.
Exceptions are services that require specialized equipment or hospitalization time such as x-rays, surgery or other anesthetic procedures and hospitalization for ill pets.
In our goal of providing more individualized and comprehensive veterinary care you can expect that a house call will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
This is at least double the typical in clinic appointment time and allows us to be sure that we are fully addressing your pets needs.
No matter what the circumstances, the decision to euthanize a beloved pet is difficult and gut wrenching.
Doorstep Veterinary Medicine would like to try and ease some of the hardship.
Our goal is to make the experience as comforting, dignified and painless for both you and your pet as possible.
We will take the time to be sure you and your family has said your goodbyes.
We will provide pain relief and sedation prior to euthanasia to be sure that your pet feels neither pain nor fear.
We can also offer aftercare of communal or individual cremation with your choice of urns.
House calls are a specialized service.
Additional time is allotted for each visit to allow Dr. Cutting to get to know you and address all the concerns and health care needs for you and your pets.
Each visit is charged a flat rate.
If more than one pet is seen there will be an added per pet exam fee.
More distant locations may incur additional travel fees.
Payment for the visit is requested at time of service.
Check, exact change cash and all major credit cards will be accepted.
If needed, we will try and provide an estimate of costs when you make your appointment and based on your concerns.
