Our promise to our clients is to seek the answer to your pet's problem with the least number of tests, procedures, and medications.
We will develop a treatment protocol that addresses your pet's dermatologic condition, which prevents them from enjoying life to the fullest. Often clients have been referred to us by their family veterinarians, but a referral is not required to receive care at our clinic. We always send written communication to your primary veterinarian informing him or her of the diagnosis and treatment your pet is receiving from our veterinary dermatologist.
Our clinic is conveniently located at 16429 7th Place West in Lynnwood, Washington, just off of I-5 at exit 183 (164th Street).

Animal Skin and Allergy Clinic offers the latest in pet allergy testing for your dogs and cats.
There are several types of allergy tests performed by veterinary dermatologists to ensure your pet receives the proper diagnosis and treatment.
The goal of allergy testing is to identify specific substances that are causing an allergic reaction, so that desensitization through allergy shots may be attempted.
As specialists in veterinary dermatology, we use a method of allergy testing known as intradermal skin testing.

Skin disease has various causes, such as infections, tumors, allergies, parasites, and autoimmune diseases.
There are many diseases of the skin caused by parasites, which may include fleas, ticks, mites (mange), biting flies, mosquitoes, and juvenile forms of parasitic worms.
Autoimmune skin diseases happen when the body's own immune system attacks normal parts of the body.
There are some internal problems that can cause skin disease, including diseases of the liver, pancreas, hormone-producing glands, and gastrointestinal tract.

Animal Skin and Allergy Clinic has extensive experience diagnosing and treating viral papillomas in dogs, cats, and horses.
Viral papillomas, or warts, are small non-cancerous growths caused by the papillomavirus.
If left untreated, they can spread to other parts of your pet's body or develop into cancerous lesions.
If we suspect that papillomas have affected the skin, pathology tests will be required.
A biopsy of the lesions will be taken for testing.
The results of the biopsy and additional tests associated with the immune system will establish whether viral antibodies are present.
