West Alabama Animal Clinic is a small-animal veterinary clinic focused on preventative medicine for your pets. We are proud to have served the neighborhood since 1988-which is a long time in pet years! Our paw prints are all over the community! We are dedicated to comprehensively meeting all of your pets' needs. You and your pets are a very important part of our animal clinic.
Our veterinarians and staff appreciate the opportunity to provide you with excellent, compassionate veterinary care. Can you imagine telling your dog, "Let's go to the vet!" and seeing their tail wag? How about getting out your cat's carrier and seeing them come running towards you instead of away from you? You won't need to imagine it if you bring your pets to West Alabama Animal Clinic!
That's because we're part of a new initiative sweeping veterinary medicine designed to ease the stress, fear and anxiety so many pets AND owners experience while at the veterinarian. Becoming a Fear Free certified clinic was very important to us because it's important to the pets we take care of.

All of my fur kids go here. My Aussie was so ill recently when I brought him in. They went to work ASAP. Did all the necessary testing within hours and got him on the road to recovery. There was a game plan the second I walked into the room. Dr Dold and Dr Martinez are amazing!! The front desk girls are the absolute best. When you call to check on your loved one they’re prompt and courteous. They even know several of their clients on a first named basis. They always have a smile on their face and are truly concerned if your little one is sick. Highly recommend them!
