We provide a variety of services to prevent future health problems and treat existing conditions. This place is great! They were so accommodating and gracious. They were even able to see my best buddy on a Friday afternoon (after 5 pm) with less than 30 minutes notice!

Dr. Weinger grew up in South Florida.
He earned his BS in zoology at the University of Wisconsin.
He grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and birds and knew from an early age that he wanted to become a veterinarian.
Naturally, after college, he headed to St. George's University in the West Indies to attend veterinary school.
There he met his future husband and honed his craft in veterinary medicine.
After spending his clinical year at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Weinger graduated and began to sharpen his skills in companion animal medicine.

Wags Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! Both doctors are so good with Harley that she’s more excited when we show up there then when we go to the dog park! The entire staff takes fantastic care of my girl and are always so great when talking me through everything, including what’s going on with my pet, the best steps to take, and finances. We LOVE wags animal hospital and the entire staff and would recommend seeing them to anyone!

I had to take CJ because he pulled out his stitches. everyone in this place is so very nice. I felt very comfortable with them handling my cat. Each step was explained for me to help me feel comfortable. They showed they really cared and for the follow-up they remembered his name and took the time to sit and discuss all details with me. I really highly recommend this place.

I recently relocated to Miami and wanted to find a vetinerary for my 13 year old miniature pinscher. I decided to make an appointment at Wags Animal
Hospital after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp. Dr. Jordan Weinger and the staff were exceptional. They treated my boy with tender care and took the time to discuss any concerns I had. I have to say that I was happy I decided to bring him here. I highly recommend this facility!

I couldn’t be more thankful to all the people recommending me Wags Animal Hospital. I brought my puppy for the first check-up to a different vet here in Brickell. But I wasn’t pleased at all with them for several reasons. Therefore, I decided to listen to everyone that had told me from the beginning to go here. The reason I didn’t in the first place was because the place I brought her to first had kind of a similar rate, just below them, though. And was (I thought) less expensive. But I learned now that that’s not the way to find the right vet for your pet. You really need to go on how they treat your pet, and you, as I for example am a first time Puppy Mommy and therefore have LOTS of questions. I didn’t feel like the first place took me serious and that’s why I was so extremely happy when I went to Wags Animal Hostipal.
The moment we came in Dr. Jordan Weinger was actually there and immediately took the time to look at my puppy and talk to me. We didn’t even have an appointment, nothing. But he was genuinely interested and I could clearly see that he cared for my puppy’s well-being. He actually cared and didn’t treat me like ‘just another customer’ nor my puppy like ‘just another puppy’. He took the time and took me serious. And my puppy clearly adored him. He has a gift! And also, it’s not even more expensive that the other vet at all. But even if it was, I would still choose Dr. Jordan Weinger a million times over and over again. Today they even checked up on her and how she’s doing (she had her first set of boosters yesterday) which I really appreciated and what I also really like is that you can e-mail him all your questions and he gets actually back to you quickly. If you want your pet to be seen by a professional, that actually cares and doesn’t mind you ask him a million questions, then Dr. Jordan Weinger is the person to go to! I don’t know if you will read this but if you do; THANK YOU! And we’ll see you soon for the 2nd set of boosters!

I got the warm and fuzzy feeling as soon as I walked into this vet clinic! They were able to accommodate us last minute on a Sunday, all the staff were kind and professional and the vet was fantastic with my nervous hound. Very affordable too, I was worried it would be pricey because of the lovely location and weekend hours but it’s absolutely comparable (maybe even less expensive) than other vets we have visited in Miami. Will recommend to all my pet owning friends!
