We are a mixed animal practice located in Paris, KY. Dr. Hardy Dungan and Dr. Kendra Ewalt established CKVS in 2005, expanding their mobile large animal veterinary service to a complete, full-service animal hospital for pets and farm animals. Our skilled and compassionate veterinarians and staff are dedicated to providing our patients with the best care possible.
We continually strive to provide the highest quality of care for our clients' animals using the most current and modern technologies and therapies to deliver excellence in medicine, surgery, dentistry, and general healthcare. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.
We believe in treating every patient as if they are our own, like the valued family member they are. Pets need dental care too!
Daily home care helps slow the progress of dental disease, but eventually most pets need a thorough professional cleaning.
Signs that your pet may have dental problems include: persistent halitosis (bad breath), discolored teeth, loose teeth, swollen or bleeding gums, sensitivity of the mouth, drooling, change in eating habits, loss of appetite, and/or decrease in activity.
Professional dental cleanings are performed under anesthesia by our licensed veterinary technician and veterinarian.
