Preventative Care - We offer annual wellness checkups as part of preventative care.
I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.
I grew up a city kid who longed to live in the country.
Like many little girls I loved horses, and desperately wanted one of my own.
Since a horse would not fit in our backyard, I spent many years taking riding lessons and going to summer camps with equine activities so I could be around horses.
I also participated in sports, like softball and track.
As a kid I was always trying to rescue hurt or abandoned baby birds or cotton tail rabbits we would find in the desert.
I'm excited to meet you!
I've lived in Perkins since 1997 and joined the practice in 1998 as a receptionist.
I have 4 beautiful children; Kiara, Zachary, Nikolas, and Alyssa and they keep me hopping when I'm not at work.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, whether it's hanging out or exploring new places.
I love reading, quilting, playing games, watching movies with my family or going for a drive with the music turned up.
We share our home with 1 dog and 4 cats, which were all acquired through local rescues or adoption agencies.
Ashley called Perkins Veterinary Clinic very concerned about his condition and we told her to bring him up right away.
Ashley said that when she came home from work the day before she noticed Arthur having trouble walking and that his condition got worse over night.
Soon he could not walk at all and he couldn't even lift his head off the floor.
He is her baby and he is 11 years old and of course she is thinking the worst.
Dr. Charette examined him as soon as he came in.
Within minutes he diagnosed Arthur with a slipped cervical disc, a rare problem in dogs his breed and size.
