
Dr. Derocher is from a little French Canadian town near Miramichi in New Brunswick. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary Clinic in Prince Edward Island where she met her boyfriend, now husband, Halsy Derocher. They both live here in Greene with their two children, Valerie & Grant. Dr. Derocher specializes in small animal surgery. She also has a special interest in birds.
She is very excited to take on this large responsibility of being the new owner of TVS. Since buying the practice, she has been trying to implement changes to better serve Turner and other surrounding communities and welcomes everyone's new ideas on how to improve our patient care. Dr. Gerardi grew up on Long Island, New York where her love for animals began at a young age while volunteering at her local shelter.
After graduating from James Madison University in Virginia, she completed the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at St. George's University in Grenada. Since becoming a DVM, Dr. Gerardi has developed a passion for small animal medicine with a strong interest in oncology and nephrology.

24-hour Emergency care is available for pets through the Animal Emergency Clinic of Mid-Maine in Lewiston at 207-777-1110.
Turner Veterinary Service is fully equipped with an on-site veterinary laboratory where we can provide services, with immediate analysis results.
We maintain our own radiology department where we utilize the latest X-ray technology, including gastrointestinal and urinary contrast studies, to better evaluate your pet's medical and orthopedic needs.
Our Veterinarians are trained in state-of-the-art surgical techniques should your pet require a surgical procedure.

In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Turner Veterinary Service understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.

She handles all aspects of animal care, including laboratory analysis, radiology, surgical assisting, client education and equipment maintenance.
She also helps mentor new technicians coming to the practice.
An avid ATV-er, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Marc, at their camp and riding ATV trails around the state of Maine.
She also enjoys chicken and goat farming, gardening and sewing.
Shelley joined TVS in 2006 and is responsible for scheduling your appointment, greeting and checking you in and out and making sure the schedule runs smoothly.
