Maine Coast Veterinary Hospital provides quality veterinary care for dogs and cats in Blue Hill, Maine and the surrounding communities. Our modern and inviting hospital boasts superb veterinarians and caring support staff that are dedicated to our patients, clients, and community. For updated information on storm closings, power/phone outages, and special holiday hour announcements, please check our Facebook page or call us prior to visiting.
Due to the size of our exam rooms and in an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, we will only permit ONE client per visit inside the hospital. Face masks, covering both the mouth and nose, are mandatory for anyone entering the building and must be worn at ALL times while inside, regardless of personal vaccination status. We will still offer curbside doctor appointments for clients that are uncomfortable with entering the hospital or by wearing a mask for a longer period of time.
Please let us know at the time your appointment is scheduled. Because our waiting room will remain closed until further notice, we ask that you still call when you arrive.

Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health.
When oral hygiene is neglected, pets can develop dental disease which negatively affects other systems in the body and may lead to tooth loss.
A pet's dental health is just as important as their physical health, however, it often goes overlooked.
The reality is that oral hygiene plays a huge part in ensuring your pet lives a long, healthy life.
Dental disease is a common but serious problem.
Approximately 80% of pets will develop it by the time they're three and, if left untreated, it will spread to the tooth socket and destroy bone.
