Clanton-Malphus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital has been serving the veterinary needs of the Thomasville community for over 100 years. It was started sometime in the early 1900's by Dr. Ferguson Davis. Dr. Roland Clanton, Sr. bought the practice in 1943.

The mission of Clanton-Malphus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital is to practice quality veterinary medicine in an environment that utilizes modern veterinary techniques, coupled with old fashioned values and service that will enhance the well being of our patients and preserve, protect and prolong the human-animal bond.At Clanton-Malpus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital, we offer complete pet healthcare services to make sure your pets stay happy and healthy.

These services include physical examinations, K-laser treatments, x-ray and ultrasound services, surgical procedures including laser surgery and diagnostic testing. We treat your pets like the valued family members they are. Per Georgia State Law - a valid doctor/patient relationship must exist for any prescription medication to be prescribed.

Clanton-Malphus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital has been serving the veterinary needs of the Thomasville community for over 100 years.
It was started sometime in the early 1900's by Dr. Ferguson Davis.
Dr. Roland Clanton, Sr. bought the practice in 1943.
The office location has been moved around over the years from downtown, then onto the Moultrie Road, and in 1990 Dr. Jimmy Clanton, Jr. built the present location on Pinetree Boulevard.
In 1992, we became accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
Bonnie K. grew up in New Albany, Mississippi.
Her education includes 2 years at Northeast Junior College and 1 year at Ole Miss.
She moved to Thomasville, GA in 1989 with her husband, Johnny, who is a dog trainer for Boston Place.
Bonnie K became one of our Receptionists in March of 1991.
She has 1 son, Ed and 1 daughter, Tonya.
Her 4 grand boys are her pride and joy! Logan, Brice, Griffin and Will.
She has a cockapoo named Noah, an english cocker named Amos and 2 Tennessee Walking Horses, Bandit and Patton.

At Clanton-Malphus-Hodges, your pet is enlisted into our Senior Wellness Program at the age of 7. We recommend that Senior patients receive semi-yearly examinations and comprehensive blood/urine evaluations annually.
As the Senior patient ages, diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid and many other problems arise that might not be visible to the naked eye.
K-Laser is an FDA cleared therapeutic treatment that manages pain and inflammation while accelerating tissue regeneration.
