Dr. Michael Harres was born and raised in Columbia, Illinois.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Milliken University in 1974 and went on to achieve his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1978.
In June of 1979, Dr. Harres started Mon-Clair Animal Hospital in Millstadt, Illinois.
Mon-Clair Animal Hospital is currently celebrating its 40 th anniversary.
Dr. Harres is married to wife Debra and has three children and five grandchildren.
For these past forty years, Dr. Harres has focused on his priority of simply providing the best, most affordable veterinary care for his patients and clients.

We recently moved to town, and have been looking for a good place to take our poodles, and we found it!
The staff was so friendly, and Dr. Harres was wonderful with our 2 miniature poodles.
