Services
Town & Country Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986 in Junction City, Kansas by Dr. Robert Haynes with the help of his wife and lifetime partner, Pamela.
Dr. Haynes graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 and opened a mobile large animal veterinary practice servicing northeastern Kansas and JC Livestock Sales Inc (a large sale barn located in Junction City).
In 1997, the practice was expanded to include small animal and exotic medicine.
A permanent hospital facility was established at that time in south Junction City.

Dr. Haynes grew up on his family's Hereford Cattle and Quarter Horse ranch south of Wamego, KS.
This farm has been in the family for over 125 years.
In 1979, he received a BS degree in Animal Science at Kansas State University and took a job as cowherd manager for a purebred Angus farm in Connecticut.
Dr. Haynes returned to KSU in 1981 and earned his MS degree in Animal Science (Bovine Reproductive Physiology) in 1983 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.
He concentrates on the large animal (farm animals and equine) portion of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital.
