Services
Animal Medical Clinic is proud to serve the Heyburn ID area for everything pet related since 1981.
Our veterinary clinic and hospital is run by Drs.
Clyde Gillespie and Sue Bosted who, added together, have over 50yrs of combined experience.
Our team is committed to educating our clients in keeping their four-legged and winged friends healthy and happy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Animal Medical Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Dr. Gillespie was born and raised in northern Utah.
After serving in the Marines, he enrolled in college with the goal of becoming a veterinarian.
He graduated from Colorado State Veterinary school in 1979 and moved his young family to Burley, Idaho where he worked for Dr. Fairbrother.
In 1981, he and Dr. Bill Fulcher started their own practice, naming it Animal Medical Clinic.
In 1988, Dr. Fulcher left to start his own practice and in 1989 Dr. Bosted arrived.
They have been partners ever since.
At Animal Medical Clinic, our doctors and staff strive to treat your pets as we do our own.
We found that this is best accomplished by making and keeping appointments.
As such, we do not accept walk-ins but require an appointment be made ahead of time.
In this way, we can best serve all our clients and their 4-legged friends.
Emergency services may be provided to established clients only and are addressed on a case-by-case basis.
Many dog owners admire the unique looks and personalities of purebreds, but also worry about the fate of millions of pets euthanized each year.
Rosa came to us in 2005 because she had an interest in perhaps becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician, but decided that was not for her.
She later agreed to take on the task of being the receptionist/office manager and has done a wonderful job for us ever since.
She is bilingual and very knowledgeable about the needs of your pets.
She is a kind and compassionate person who understands that sometimes financial concerns influence how much care we can provide for our four-legged friends.
Paula is a native to the Mini-Cassia region and used to work as a receptionist at our clinic.
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service.
We at Animal Medical Clinic in Heyburn ID have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet.
We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
Call (208) 679-4550 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
