Services
Kauai Veterinary Clinic was founded in October of 1978 by Dr. Michael Woltmon, and Dr. Joanne Woltmon.
The clinic initially began small, as a mobile clinic in the back of the Doctor's Station Wagon, with the goal of providing the best medicine and care possible for their patients.
Over the last thirty-eight years, the clinic has evolved into a 2400 square foot hospital offering emergency and preventative care for our patients, boarding facilities, a full surgical suite, and 24/7 emergency services.
Regular vaccinations and examinations will help keep your pet healthy and happy.
While your veterinarian will be able to advise you of the frequency that your pet should be examined, most recommend either annual or bi-annual visits.
Since pets age an average of 7 times faster than humans, they are considered middle-aged by the time they reach 6/7 years old and larger breeds of dogs are often considered to be seniors by the time they reach 8.
Heartworm is a serious illness that can cause heart failure, lung disease, organ damage and even death in dogs, cats and ferrets.
I have been a client of Kauai Veterinary Clinic for 12 years, with multiple dogs and cats of my own as patients.
I also appreciate the 24-7 on-call service for clients; one is never farther away from help than a promptly answered or returned call from one of the doctors, and if necessary, an emergency clinic visit.
I have had large families of dogs and cats for 45 years, more than 35 of those years on the Mainland, and have never been as satisfied with a clinic as I am with Kauai Veterinary Clinic.
