The Hometown Veterinarian is owned and operated by Dr. Grant Jacobson who is a compassionate veterinarian with over 24 years of experience practicing high-quality small animal medicine and surgery.
He is joined by a fantastic team of veterinarians and para-professionals all focused on providing the best care possible to our animal patients. Oral health is important not only to maintain strong and healthy teeth but also helps prevent systemic disease. Our clinic features a dedicated dental digital X-Ray machine. Dr. Jacobson is highly experienced and skilled in surgeries ranging from routine elective procedures to complicated orthopedic and and soft tissue procedures (including "plastic surgery").
He excels at the use of CO2 surgical laser to improve surgical outcomes and decrease patient discomfort. In veterinary school, Dr. Jacobson was taught that no animal under proper veterinary care should suffer from parasites.
