Established in 1982, Northwest Veterinary Hospital is a large and small animal hospital serving several counties in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Our quality service starts with our pharmacy. Licensed in 50 states, our pharmacy is the most highly accredited partner-pharmacy in the nation. That means we meet the strictest standards for privacy, authentication, and security of prescription orders, as well as follow an established quality assurance program.
We are a full service hospital equipped to handle a wide variety of standard and specialized veterinary medical procedures including surgery, x-rays, ultrasound and on on site laboratory testing. We also provide large animal services.

Services
Once you are checked in, a veterinary staff member will show you to one of our three exam rooms, where they will take history, vital signs and answer any basic questions you may have.
Next, one of our four veterinarians will examine your pet, answer your questions, administer vaccinations and discuss further diagnostics and treatments should your pet be ill.
Once a plan has been decided, we may take your pet to the treatment room to collect samples or administer treatments.
We will conclude by explaining medications, go home instructions, educational information and answering any final questions you may have.

One of the best things you can do for your pet is to keep him or her healthy.
And one of the easiest and least expensive ways to do that is by bringing in your pet for regular exams and vaccinations.
Dogs and cats (and other pets) age far faster than people, so significant changes in your pet's health can happen in a short time.
Wellness programs allow us to diagnose diseases and conditions early, when they're easier to treat or manage.
Often, we can help prevent diseases entirely, just by ensuring that your pet has received appropriate vaccinations and preventives.
