We are your animal health professionals in your community. We're a mixed animal practice located in the southeastern corner of Montana. We are committed to treating all of our patients - large and small - with compassion and empathy. We have a very experienced team of animal health professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of our clients and our patients.

Our veterinarians and our support staff are some of the most knowledgeable in the industry today. We specialize in getting your cows pregnant, and keeping your herd healthy. There are many benefits from an annual physical exam, blood and urine analysis, vaccinations and a lifestyle evaluation for the health and happiness of your companion. It is never too early to start!

With a variety of non-surgical and surgical options, we can accelerate recovery time and improve comfort levels. We offer preventive tips, diagnosis and can treat injuries for sporting and athletic breeds. The Vet Barn carries livestock and pet supplies. We carry cattle vaccines, dewormers and insecticides as well nutritional food and accessories for your horse, dog or cat.
Services
Our expertise, along with our compassion and a commitment to our clients and to our patients is what sets our clinic apart.
Our doctors and our support staff are devoted to the health and well-being of our patients.
Everyone at our clinic LOVES animals.
Quite simply, that's why we work here.
We all want to improve the quality of life for our patients, and we all have firsthand experience with the power of the human-animal bond.
You will see that we offer state of the art medicine in a small-town, friendly atmosphere that your pet will love.
The Vet Barn carries livestock and pet supplies.
We carry dog and cat food as well as nutritional supplements.
We have a variety of prescription diets and premium maintenance diets for your pet's optimum health.
We also carry treats, leashes, harnesses, coats for those chilly Montana days and nights.
Like it or not, parasite control has become more strategic, and more complicated, since the days of Warbex.
We carry the most effective parasiticides, and we can help you decide which one will gain you the most pounds for your money.
We perform thousands of breeding soundness exams, also known as fertility tests, on bulls each year.
You need to do everything you can to get your cows to catch on their first heat cycle.
Every day that a cow remains open during the breeding season means fewer pounds on the calf at the weaning.
In fact, for every 21 days that your cow remains open, there is a loss of 50-60 pounds for the calf that she finally conceives.
Our bull testing team is comprised of one of our veterinarians and two highly skilled technicians.
We are your family doctor for all of your horse's needs from preventative care like floating teeth and vaccinations to lameness diagnosis and treatment.
We can help with wellness exams, vaccinations, equine colic, lameness, floating teeth and castrations.
Dentistry is one of our specialties.
Ultrasound is offered and if your horse requires more advanced procedures, we work closely with board certified surgeons and internal medicine specialists to make sure that your horse gets the care that he or she needs.
The cornerstone of pet wellness is a complete physical exam performed every year.
During your pet's wellness exam, our doctors will discuss your pet's unique health needs.
This includes vaccination, heart worm prevention, parasite control, nutrition, and any conditions specific to your pet.
These may include dental issues, wound care, canine hip dysplasia detection, and pain management.
With new understanding of immunity, vaccination protocols have become much more complex in recent years.
Giving certain vaccinations every year is no longer the standard care.
