Dr. Karen Emerson is a 2006 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
She resides in West Point with her husband Terry and two daughters, Haley and Lilly Kate.
Her other family members are Bart, a double yellow-headed Amazon parrot she has had since she was eleven years old.
Dopey a dumbo rat, Snowball a guinea pig, Lilly a Latino cockatiel, Bella a Labrador Retriever.
Marvin a Great Pyrenees, Ginger a Welch pony, and a herd of cattle: each one spoiled rotten.
She specializes in exotics and trained with Dr. Tom Tully at LSU.
