MRI's provide the best soft tissue contrast of all the imaging modalities.
This allows for unparalleled and unlimited possibilities for diagnostics for each patient.
Contrast can also be used for the enhancement of tumors, allowing for greater imaging of cancer.
Our MRI service is offered as an out-patient procedure or in emergency situations as needed.
A normal MRI scan will take 60 to 90 minutes and requires the animal to be anesthetized for the duration of the test.
