Ambassador Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Robert Edwards in 1961 as a small, one-veterinarian practice.

In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Ambassador Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.

She first started as a kennel assistant and over the years, by working hard and learning a lot, she has moved her way up to being our lead Veterinary Assistant.
Some of her daily responsibilities include helping our veterinarians with appointments, collecting blood samples from patients, running bloodwork, and filling prescriptions in the pharmacy.
Maggie enjoys teaching the other girls how to do things around the hospital, such as collecting samples for tests and identifying specimen under the microscope.

Ambassador Animal Hospital has at least one veterinarian and staff working 6 days of the week who are trained to handle emergency situations that might occur with your pet.
Emergencies include but are not limited to things such as hit by car, ingesting poison, or dog fight.
If you feel your pet is in need of emergency care, please do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
If at all possible, please call ahead so that a veterinarian or staff member can guide you on your emergency situation and so we can be better prepared for you when you get to the clinic.
