The Schulmeyer Animal Hospital, conveniently located in Perry Hall, MD, is a full service animal hospital.
Should your dog or cat become injured, ill or require any surgery, our hospital is always ready to help you.
We provide inpatient and outpatient care every day of the week except Sunday and major holidays.
All examinations are scheduled by appointment.
This allows us enough time to examine your pet and answer your questions.

Dr. Schulmeyer graduated from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.
He has been providing veterinary care to the families and pets of the Perry Hall area since 1989.
Dr. Schulmeyer was born and raised in Baltimore County.
He received a B.S. in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1982.
Upon graduation from veterinary school in 1986, Dr. Schulmeyer worked in a mixed animal practice (dogs, cats, horses, pigs, sheep goats, etc.) in Chestertown, Maryland.
He returned to the Perry Hall area in 1989 and in 1993 he opened the Schulmeyer Animal Hospital.
He has been providing veterinary care to the families and pets of the Perry Hall area since 1989.

Sam Brooks - Sam has been with the Schulmeyer Animal Hospital since 2010.
She graduated from Perry Hall High School and is pursuing a degree in Animal Behavior and Psychology at Towson University.
She is currently volunteering at the National Aquarium in Baltimore in the Marine Mammal Department.
Terry Buontempo - Terry has been with the Schulmeyer Animal Hospital since 2009.
She graduated from Perry Hall High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Teacher Education.
She lives in Perry Hall with her family and her dogs, Zion & Quila.
She graduated from Perry Hall High School and is pursuing a degree in Animal Behavior and Psychology at Towson University.
