Her early experiences with animal care made a deep impression, and her love of medicine and problem solving grew.
For Dr. Harris, a career in the world of animal care was simply the only choice!
Dr. Harris opened Avenue Animal Hospital in the fall of 2012 to provide her own brand of modern diagnostics and client-centered services to the pet owners of the area.
She has special passions for ultrasound, dentistry, and interacting closely with clients to develop personal and meaningful relationships.

Two are tailored to small to medium size dogs and cats.
Two are tailored to larger dogs.
All exam rooms have solid surface counter tops.
Exam rooms also contain computers so that ultrasounds and X-rays can be displayed to clients in a private setting.
We have digital X-Ray in house.
This allows for us to keep costs down since we do not have to develop film over and over again if a shot does not turn out properly.
Our veterinary software allows for direct import of X-Rays, for easy viewing by our staff.
