West's Animal Clinic was built in 1938 by Dr. Codd and an addition was added in 1940.
Dr. W. Roger West moved his family from Kansas and purchased the clinic in 1947.
Dr. Paul West purchased the clinic from his father in 1979.
During this time period the clinic has undergone multiple remodeling projects, equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
Dr. Paul West graduated from Maury High School and then attended Kansas State University, where he received his B.S and D.V.M degrees.
After spending 2.5 years in the Air Force as Chief of Veterinary Services in Izmir, Turkey, he returned to this practice in 1975.
