Whole Pet Wellness is a mobile vet service in Denver Colorado, providing compassionate, in-home care to sensitive cats and dogs. I started Whole Pet Wellness after over nine years of practice witnessing how stressful the veterinary clinic setting is for both pets and their owners. I set out to provide veterinary care in an environment where dogs and cats feel at ease.
I pride myself on providing outstanding preventive care, both holistic and traditional, giving your pets longer, happier lives. I earned my degree from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a post-graduate internship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists in Walnut Creek, CA. I received my BS in Animal Science and Management from University of CA, Davis in 2002.
Received my DVM from UC Davis in 2006. Then completed a 1 year emergency and specialty veterinary medicine Internship in the San Francisco Bay Area. Practiced at Berkeley Dog and Cat hospital from 2007-2013. Received my Masters of Public Health degree with Epidemiology emphasis in 2015 from the University of Colorado.

Hello, my name is Leila Hunt, DVM, CVMA and I am a 2000 graduate of Texas A&M University.
I have worked in small animal practice in Texas from 2000 to 2007 and in Tennessee from 2007 to 2020.
My family has just relocated to Colorado in April of 2020.
I have worked in both corporate medicine as well as private practices and am very excited to personalize the care I can provide by moving into a house call based setting.
I have a passion for educating clients and really taking the time to discuss ailments and care options so my clients can fully understand what is going on and together we can create a treatment plan that is best for your pet.
