Dr. Cade M. Wilson was born in Miami, Oklahoma and lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama before moving to Ardmore with his family during his teenage years.
He graduated from Ardmore High School and calls Ardmore "home".
Dr. Wilson graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2000 and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
After graduating from OSU, Dr. Wilson practiced veterinary medicine in north Texas before moving back to Ardmore.
After two years of practicing at a local veterinary clinic, he and his wife, Mary Kate, established Carter County Animal Hospital.
In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you expect high quality care as well as great service.
Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care.
Our commitment to you is to continue to offer our world class service and a state of the art veterinary facility.
This should take between 10 and 15 minutes.
After completing the required forms, you and your pet will be escorted to one of our exam rooms to be seen by Dr. Wilson and our technical staff.
Our interior boarding facility is equipped with a separate climate controlled heating and cooling system to ensure the comfort of your pet regardless of the outside temperature.
This facility is also separate from the remainder of the hospital including our critical care isolation area.
This allows our "bed and breakfast guests" to come into less contact with our other pet visitors.
We get very busy on some weekends and holidays and boarding slots fill quickly.
We highly recommended scheduling boarding reservations as far in advance as possible.
Wellness exams are crucial to your pet's continued good health.
On average a pet ages 7 times faster than humans, therefore, we recommend a comprehensive physical exam yearly for patients under 7 and twice yearly for patients 7 and older.
We schedule ample time for your appointment to ensure that Dr. Wilson can go over his findings and answer any questions you may have.
It may also be recommended at the time of the visit that your pet may need screening tests ran for early diagnosis of age associated or life style related diseases.
