It's important to schedule annual exams for your pet, even if they appear to be healthy. At Pets & Friends Animal Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado, we offer tours of our facility when time allows, so you know exactly what kind of care your pet will receive as well as become familiar with our friendly staff. We will always greet you with a smile and listen to your questions or concerns.

We truly care about every animal that we see. After treatment, we make sure to check in with each one of our furry patients to see how they might be coping. We have three professional veterinarians on staff who are qualified to provide pet vaccinations, pet spay and neuter, pet surgery, dental care, microchipping, pain management, radiology, and anesthesia.

At Pets & Friends Animal Hospital, we value each pet that is in our care.

Throughout the year, adoption groups, rescue groups and shelters are flooded with litters of puppies and kittens, born to unaltered dogs and cats.
With each new litter, the number of homeless pets grows and these new puppies and kittens find themselves fighting for a limited number of homes-with an uncertain future when there are not enough homes to be found.
Spay or neuter your pets.

I am writing to ask you about a health problem I have been experiencing ever since I slipped outside and decided to explore my neighborhood.
Normally I stay indoors, but just couldn't resist the temptation.
I was investigating my neighbors' shed when suddenly the door slammed shut and I was locked in.
Despite my attempts to tell them that I was in there, nobody heard me.
Over the years I have become a bit on the pudgy side (16 lbs.), so I figured that I'd be ok if I missed a meal or two since I had some extra weight to tide me over.
Pets & Friends Animal Hospital recommends you visit the training facility and check their credentials, references and method of training.
Your pet should be vaccinated a week or more before attending training.
If Pueblo Area Pet Emergency Hospital is closed, or the wait is too long, please contact Animal Emergency Care Centers at 5520 North Nevada in Colorado Springs.
Their phone number is 719-260-7141.
They are a not-for-profit charitable organization which creates unique opportunities for members of the military community to save a life by honorably adopting homeless adult dogs and cats.
