Jacksonville Community Pet Clinic
Our team of veterinarians and staff have been serving the Jacksonville community for more than 10 years. What does it mean when a dog eats grass? According to The Journal of Applied Animal Behavior Science, 68% of doggy parents report that their dogs eat grass on a daily or weekly basis. What are they traying to tell us? The reason might simply be because they like the way it tastes, but most experts believe it's something more.

One area often overlooked when grooming are pet's ears. While cats largely take care of their own grooming, they do need help to clean their ear canals. Dogs' needs are greater, especially if their ear flaps cover their ear canal. The most important considerations are not to panic, and not to self-diagnose. There are many possible causes for lumps--some harmless and some requiring more intensive veterinarian care.

While lumps can be found anywhere on your pet's body, they typically are. Appointments are strongly encouraged. Wait times for walk-ins are typically one hour or more, and we encourage you to call ahead to confirm availability.
Services
Jacksonville Community Pet Clinics was originally founded in 2009 as a mobile pet clinic.
The company prospered by providing convenient, high-quality veterinary services to an under-served market of people for whom traditional vets were not affordable.
Eventually the first brick and mortar clinic opened in Jacksonville Beach in 2011, followed with the west location in 2013.
The goal for the new clinics was to provide a full range of veterinary services to well and sick dogs and cats in Northeast Florida.
Call us to book an appointment!
Our staff members will do their best to accommodate all requests for appointments based on availability.
In order for us to be able to accommodate as many patients as possible, we will charge an office visit fee of $25 for each pet for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
While we do accept walk-ins, wait times for walk-ins can often exceed one hour depending on demand.
If you are not able to make an appointment, we recommend calling us to confirm availability prior to coming in.
We work hard to keep our quality of service high, and our prices fair.
As a part of that mission, we offer several convenient ways to pay for your pet's care.
Payment is always due at the time services are rendered, and estimates are provided for all surgeries and hospitalization prior to treatment.
We accept cash, debit cards, as well as Mastercard, Visa and American Express credit cards.
We do not accept checks.

Our mobile clinic operates in partnership with local businesses and churches in the community.
These partners make a portion of their parking lots available on various Saturdays for the mobile clinic to operate and serve customers.
The mobile clinic is staffed with a Jacksonville Community Pet Clinics veterinarian, vet tech, clinic manager and two administrative staff members.
The mobile clinic provides free physical exams, low cost vaccinations and access to affordable prescription medications.
Pets depend on you to provide them with fresh, balanced meals to keep them healthy.
Food that's not stored properly can degrade and turn rancid, which will make your pet sick.
Here are tips to ensure you pet's food stays fresh and nutritious.
