I recently moved to Dundee on 4/20 and had yet to establish a relationship with a local vet as at the time my two cats were healthy and up to date. Fast forward to the end of June on a Sunday and my senior cat, Lucy became ill. She would not eat anything and went from vomiting white foam to stomach bile.
I admit, I called Heritage Animal Hospital first as they were open on a Sunday. They might as well have been closed. I called first thing in the morning. Their response was cold and lacking empathy. Booked for days I was told. Go to an emergency clinic I was told.

Dr. Karkheck was raised on a horse farm in Ida, MI.
She studied Mathematics and Animal Science as an undergraduate at Monroe County Community College and Michigan State University.
She received her veterinary degree from MSU in 2008 and completed and intensive internship at world renowned Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
