Dr. SamThibodeaux, an Erath native, is a 1986 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating, he worked at University Animal Clinic, a busy high quality small animal practice in Lake Charles, Louisiana for 2 and 1/2 years before buying Dr. Harold's Animal Hospital from Dr. Harold Travasos in 1989, changing the name to Thibodeaux Animal Hospital.
He is a past president of the Acadiana Area Veterinary Association, a founding member of the board of directors of the Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic being board president for several years until the emergency clinic was sold in 2005.
After graduating, he worked at University Animal Clinic, a busy high quality small animal practice in Lake Charles, Louisiana for 2 and 1/2 years before buying Dr. Harold's Animal Hospital from Dr. Harold Travasos in 1989, changing the name to Thibodeaux Animal Hospital.
He is a past president of the Acadiana Area Veterinary Association, a founding member of the board of directors of the Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic being board president for several years until the emergency clinic was sold in 2005.
